Vegetation Fire - City of Brisbane

On June 20, 2026, at 3:47 a.m., 4 Fire Companies, 1 Chief Officer and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a vegetation fire to the east of the intersection of Geneva Ave and Bayshore Blvd in the City of Brisbane.

The first arriving fire company found smoke and flames coming from a ¼ acre vegetation fire. Using hose lines, firefighters worked to contain and extinguish the fire with forward progress stopped at ½ acre. No structures were threatened, and there were no injuries to any firefighters or civilians.

Fire companies remained on scene for over two hours controlling hot spots and ensuring total extinguishment.

The fire is under investigation by the North County Fire Authority Fire Prevention Division. If anyone witnessed any individuals in the area at the time of the fire, they are advised to call the North County Fire Authority with details at 650-800-6580.

North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of cutting and removing all dry grass and flammable vegetation around their homes and businesses.
