Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On March 16, 2025 at 1:30 a.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire at 75 Surrey Ct in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke coming from the attic of a two-story, residential care facility. Using hose lines, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire while simultaneously conducting search and rescue operations within the home. The occupants were able to safely self evacuate and there were no injuries to firefighters or residents. 5 residents were displaced but able to find other accommodations.

Fire companies remained on scene for over three hours checking for fire extension, while also conducting salvage and overhaul operations. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by North County Fire Authority, Fire Prevention Division, Investigations Section.
