Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On February 10, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a structure fire at 692 North Mayfair Avenue in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke coming from the garage of a two-story, single family home. Using hose lines, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire while simultaneously conducting search and rescue operations within the home. No occupants were found or in need of rescue and the fire was contained to the garage.

Fire companies remained on scene for over two hours checking for fire extension and completing salvage and overhaul operations. No residents were displaced by the fire and there were no injuries to any of the firefighters or residents.

The fire is under investigation by North County Fire Authority, Fire Prevention Division.

The North County Fire Authority wants to remind everyone of the importance of installing and maintaining smoke alarms in their homes.
