Residential Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On March 25, 2024, at 7:21 p.m.., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a residential apartment structure fire at 150 School St, in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke coming from a two-story apartment building. Firefighters made entry and began search and rescue operations and found all occupants had safely evacuated. Two occupants were evaluated at scene by firefighter paramedics and transported to the hospital due to minor smoke inhalation.

The cause of the incident was determined to be the result of an out-of-control oven fire. Firefighters mitigated the incident by removing the oven from the building and remained on scene for smoke removal and overhaul for over an hour.
