Residential Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On August 30th, 2025, at 12:51 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a residential structure fire at 66 E Moltke St., in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke and fire coming from a shed in the backyard of a two-story single-family home. Using hose lines, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire while simultaneously protecting adjacent homes and property. No occupants were found or in need of rescue and the fire was contained to the shed.

Fire companies remained on scene for over two hours checking for fire extension and completing salvage and overhaul operations. No residents were displaced by the fire and there were no injuries to any of the firefighters or residents.

The fire is under investigation by North County Fire Authority, Fire Prevention Division.
