Residential Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On June 2, 2026, at 5:32 p.m., 6 Fire Companies and 2 Chief Officers, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a residential structure fire at 382 Glenwood Ave. in the City of Daly City.

The first arriving fire company found smoke coming from the roof of a single-family residence. Firefighters made entry and began search and rescue operations throughout the structure and determined all occupants had safely evacuated.

The incident resulted in moderate smoke damage to the second story and fire and smoke damage to the roof of the residence. No residents were displaced.

Fire companies remained on scene for over three hours checking for fire extension, while also conducting salvage and overhaul operations. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the North County Fire Authority. There were no injuries to firefighters.

The North County Fire Authority reminds residents to maintain defensible space around their homes by removing dead vegetation, trimming overgrown plants, and keeping roofs and gutters free of combustible debris. Creating and maintaining defensible space is one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of wildfire spreading to structures.
