Residential Structure Fire - City of Daly City

On January 13, 2026, at 3:11 p.m. 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers, 3 Fire Investigators, responded to a residential structure fire at 650 St Francis Blvd., in the City of Daly City.

The first-arriving fire company encountered heavy smoke and active flames coming from the backyard of a two-story single-family home.

Firefighters made a rapid attack and were able to quickly extinguish the fire, while simultaneously performing a primary search to ensure all occupants had safely evacuated. No residents were found inside the home.

The fire caused extensive damage to the exterior and interior of the home. Fire companies remained on scene for approximately three hours to check for fire extension and to complete salvage and overhaul operations.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. Redcross was called to assist six occupants with housing.

The incident is under investigation by North County Fire Authority Fire Prevention Division.
