Residential Structure Fire – City of Brisbane

On May 7th, 2026, at 09:37 p.m., 6 Fire Companies, 2 Chief Officers, and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a commercial structure fire at 3800 Bayshore Blvd. Unit #11, in the City of Brisbane.

Upon arrival, the first-in fire company observed smoke and fire coming from an abandoned single-story residence. Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack utilizing hose lines while simultaneously conducting search and rescue operations and protecting adjacent homes and nearby property from fire extension.

One occupant was located and transported for treatment of burns and smoke inhalation. The fire was contained in the structure.

Fire personnel remained on scene for three hours conducting overhaul operations, checking for hidden fire extension, and completing salvage activities. No firefighter injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental and related to the improper disposal of smoking materials.
