Commercial Structure Fire - City of Brisbane

On March 23, 2024, at 11:20 p.m., 10 Fire Companies, 1 Breathing Support Unit, 4 Chief Officers and 1 Fire Investigator responded to a commercial structure fire at 11 Industrial Way, in the City of Brisbane.

The first arriving fire company encountered a large 20,000 square foot commercial building fully involved with fire. Firefighters made an aggressive, but defensive attack on the fire while simultaneously protecting adjacent property utilizing a ladder truck water tower and hose deck hose lines to flow a large amount of water. Due to the initial amount of fire within the large open timber framed building previously occupied by the Lazzari Fuel Company the building was destroyed by fire.

Fire companies remained on scene for over four hours conducting salvage operations and putting out hot spots. Fire companies will remain on scene overnight and through the next day to ensure there is no reignition. There were no injuries to firefighters or any of the public.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the North County Fire Authority, Fire Prevention Division, Investigations Section. Anyone who may have information about this fire is urged to contact the North County Fire Authority at 650-991-8138.
