Fire Chief Myers' Retirement

After an extraordinary career marked by dedication, courage, and unwavering service, Fire Chief Ron D. Myers announced his retirement. Chief Myers has served as Fire Chief of North County Fire Authority for 24 years and has devoted an incredible 43 years to the fire service.

Under his leadership, the North County Fire Authority was formed and has since made a lasting impact serving the communities of Brisbane, Daly City, and Pacifica. Chief Myers takes immense pride in the strong collaboration fostered within the organization, as well as the department’s steadfast commitment to safety and excellence. His leadership helped shape the department into what it is today: strong, resilient, and prepared for any challenge.

From major emergencies to day-to-day operations, Chief Myers led with integrity, compassion, and a deep sense of duty. His legacy of professionalism and dedication will continue well beyond his retirement.
